Pues... Otro que no puede venir :-(

Le escribí a Larry Lessig, me dice que en principio le encantaría estar
por acá, pero que su agenda está ya ocupada para febrero.

Estoy esperando desde hace varios días respuesta de Bruce Perens, pero
cada vez lo veo menos probable.

Me tomé la libertad de invitar a John Perry Barlow, quien me tiene
francamente impresionado - Mandé un breve artículo respecto a él a
Cofradía, por si les interesa saber más al respecto:

Esperaré su respuesta. En todo caso, hay otro personaje importante de la
EFF que podría ser maravilloso candidato: John Gilmore. De hecho, por
varias cosas tal vez él vaya aún más acorde con la temática de CONSOL (es
desarrollador de software libre, co-creador de Cygnus), pero... Bueno, he
estado leyendo algo de Barlow últimamente, y se me hace MUY importante.

I am organizing the second edition of the National Free Software
Conference (CONSOL - Congreso Nacional de Software Libre) in Mexico City,
February 5 to 8 2003. Our conference is not an expo, it is not made to
attract new people to become free software users - Instead, it it focused

weaving together a real community, discussing about technical and

keynote speaker. Personally, I have recently been reading a lot about your

outsider's definition. Maybe that would be exactly what we want.
