probñemas de conexion phpESP postgres

Les cuento estoy montando el sistema de scrip para encuestas phpESP en linux, por defecto phpESP viene con base de datos mysql, pero el trabajo es que phpESP funcione con postgres, en mi maquina tengo instalado posgtres 8.3.7, pero me sale el siguiente error al conectarme con postgres: WARNING: Checksum for file admin/phpESP.ini.php.default doesnt match FATAL: postgres extension not loaded. Aborting por favor un ayuda que mas puedo hacer es urgente!! Grcias por su ayuda lo mas pronto posible

Es decir modificaste la configuracion en archivo default que no debe ser modificado, sino el phpESP.ini.php
