But we do now have comments working and have made major steps toward the new improved user interface. The current source code is updated in a new twexter branch of github. We wanted to be farther along but had lots of batalla to restructure and debug. It's likely that we'll need another week or two to get this alpha interface right, especially to let us manage both normal translations and then variable language twext translations. Current plan has changed: in final weeks of December, we'll make a basic "WiXi" plugin work with mediawiki software. This WiXi plugin will allow us to merge the wixi and twext wikis so that we can show the tool working with the software that powers the mightly multilingual Wikipedia. This move will also free up twext.com to host the multilingual alpha interface. The EscuelaSchool beta interface mentioned in earlier reports is now delayed until early January. We very much want to focus on this simpler instance of twexter, but we also need to finish what we've started. If anyone feels this is more of the cart before the horse, now is good time to complain.
