Hi Dave!

Yes, Hokum has talked to us a lot about you, and I really want to have you
over here at CONSOL 2003. Count on having your talks accepted, we know you
are really worth it. There is, however, one problem: We still do not have
any money. I would really like to cover your travel expenses, but right
now I cannot assure you when will I have the money to do so.

Consider yourself invited. The organizers are very interested in having
you here. I hope to confirm this to you in a couple of days, week at most.
