the boat is afloat, direction now turning back toward big picture twexter, the multilingual picture.. alpha twexter ya te permite añadir o quitar qualquier dialecto o lenguaje de tu interfaz personal.. we're shaking the bugs out this week and next pa'que la herramienta se ve bonita a los finales del mes..
we hope also to show a new feature in twexter, namely relating variable expressions of a similar idea, aka "translation" in variable languages.. el twexter del momento no puede distinguir entre uno twexto com'e si e' fatto allo stilo bello italiano y el mismo texto traducido twexto en inglés.. jason has the functions working and DB ready, so we're likely to have some user controls for relating translations by the end of this month..
practical progression since last report last month is good and here:
- User can log out by clicking on user name
- Right Click Context Control:
- Menu now shows when you right click on top of twext output.
- Copy url for document
- Copy Document ID (Made For Media Wiki Plugin)
Clipboard Emulation Control
- Found that working with the clipboard in Firefox and IE was next to impossible and nothing near cross browser. So I created the next best thing.
- Popup control for Chunking Option
- I got the option in a pop up control with google logo.. It still does not work cuase looking at twext.com and reading note... I have questions. Once I understand what is going on we should be able to finished that one quick.
- Print URL wasn't working - Fixed (needed for media wiki plug in)
- WiXi: MediaWiki Plugin Version 0.2:
- Plain twext output plugin
- Editor in wiki page (not very useful now, but will be soon)
- http://more.read.fm/wiki_test shows twext printing in mediawiki (wikipedia software) YA! =)
- Finder User Login Bug
Many unremembered bug fixes and trail and error attempts. jaja.
- All necesary internal code added for parent and child relationships
- Made Changes to Database
- Made change to the php document class to save and load parent/child documents.
- Note: Just missing the UI element for this to start working.
- Generic Popup control:
- This control is to be inherited by other control that have popups. This to stop repeditive code. More popup I am sure for lots of things. Right now it will be fore chunking popup and new context menus popups.
- Clear url field on new document bug fixed.
Moved the search box to the right as originally planned.
- Some more image path correction to solve disappearing buttom image problems. Like on the login.
- More tool bar style changes.
- so we're solid progress toward complete overhaul of twexter ui..
fue un gusto verlos todos (casi, menos Panx) en la semana pasada, y muchisimas gracias de nuevo por este apoyo.. soon we may see Nahuatl, Maya, Diiste, Español, Inglés and some other MesoAmerican languages start to get twext =)
