from the mas-o-menso dept. Hi all, last week Jason restructured twexter code for more adaptable user interface. We should be alpha testing a much improved UI this coming week. Last week I proposed a user inteface that could let us edit twext more directly. Jason says there's a better way to do this but we won't get to it this year. I've also been working toward a way to bring a "weave" feature into the mix for Spanglish twext, while also managing expressions of an idea in more "correct" English and Spanish. It needs a lot of work, but I believe it will be fun playground for language learners, and useful for testing with Spanish speakers in México who are learning the English. My mom is visiting this week and I expect to have more progress to report in early December on a simplified EscuelaSchool interface for beta testing in San Miguel de Allende. I should also add that we are very close to testing a WiXi plugin that can start twexting Wikipedia texts. Vic might like this plugin because it will help organize a mess of wikis into one wiki that can actually get twext instead of just talking about it:) Por fin. Gracias a todos. < Reporte 28-XI-08 | reporte seminautico >
