Posted by duke on Thursday April 10, @05:17PM el 2008from the twexter ya dept. please fix http://twext.com/roadmap thanks git http://github.com/plans looks like free way to get twexter software repository in git.. is twexter software currently on easy git repository? here's a easy way to get twexter git now. xcroll xcroll is next on current roadmap.. the most editable javascript xcroll is still gerardo's from 070405 or so.. our latest 080327 demo is unusable for serious xcroll editing.. it could be good to get xcroll code released via github now, so more eyeballs can make bugs shallower sooner faster data with code easy to share (twexter sourcecode in git repositoryand xcroll improving, we can proceed to save twext data, json, maybe dodo.. as Martin Langhoff stated so clearly at consol, we want a good scalable data plan.. we also wanna think toward sharing data between variably embedded twexters (ie wordpress, moodle, etc) chunk we gotta chunk text on the fly, meaning chunk from simple text input.. i'll round up the old specs and then define a new chunkster spec in next few days.. this may be a separate new gig via last try at freelance sites* or maybe a javascript rockstar friend of yours.. translate with usable UI, we can share code and data in the form of associated chunks of text and twxt.. we wanna interact chunk translation with existing translation engines, starting with translate.google.com, which, unlike others, indeed translates chunks. spanglish teoria: mixing lenguajes yes se puede.. se llama code switching.. languages mesclados make it facil de learn lo que they are saying por el otro lado.. practica: alternating language by twext translated chunk may be (a) easy way to learn and (b) we try new kinda language database (classified by included language hybrids eg spanglish, chinglish, etc)..
