Avances Twexter 24 al 28 de marzo
Reportes Posted by Gabriel Saldana on Tuesday April 01, @12:29AM el 2008
from the dept.
De los logs del repositorio: Moved main twexter interface as the index file no need for user authentication to enter twexter Added more seconds to the scrolling timer. Scrolling detection is done with it. Having more frequent interval will scroll better, but CPU and memory usage increases a lot.

http://twext.com/xcroll is key to embed twexter

thanks Gabriel! xcroll still needs a major fix.. if you try to majorly edit either side of existing, the UI isn't usable.. (i know you didn't cause this and are trying to fix it=) but please feel free to think outside box:

optimizing a disfunctional xcroll maybe less valuable than integrating a xcroll that works.. as we've discussed, Gerardo Iglesias did a more editable xcroll here.. one challenge in Gerardo's (unfinished) xcroll is the scrollbar isn't standard, and another problem in gerardo's xcroll is that you can't toggle/tab between inputs..

the key to understanding xcroll is to try actually using it a lot

the original xcroll spec is, for now, here: http://code.twext.com/twexterBASIC/twexterBASIC.html

since we are focusing on a twexter that plugs into other application, we have less to do, but must do it very well.. there is no twexter without hiqh quality xcroll function
