By these means I intend to support my claim that my writing, reading, speaking, and listening abilities in English are excellent. I am a native speaker. I was born in New Jersey and lived there until I was four, and, my father has English and Scottish Canadian ancestry and this side of my family has kept a tradition of bilingualism. Both my father and his father did postgraduate studies in the United States (mathematics and medicine), which goes to show that the English we were taught is sufficient for any reasonable activity. Moreover I attended a British secondary school.
